Aslı Şahinkaya Ermiş graduated from Başkent University Department of Communication Design in 2016 and graduated from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema in 2019. She graduated from Hacı Bayram Veli University, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema with the title "A Rizo-Ethnographic Flow from Everyday Life to Images: Ideas, Feelings, Actions from the Pensioner's Perspective" in 2023. Since 2017, she has been working as a research assistant at Başkent University Faculty of Communication. She is also working as an assistant editor at Sinefilozofi magazine. She continues her academic studies on cinema.
